After Kyle Rittenhouse allegedly shot and killed two men and allegedly shot and injured a third man, Kyle Rittenhouse then walked to the vicinity of police officers in armoured vehicles who were hanging back from the area in which these shootings took place.
The reason why Kyle Rittenhouse walked to the vicinity of the police officers in armoured vehicles was that he wanted to surrender to the police officers after allegedly shooting and killing two men and allegedly shooting and injuring a third man.
The police officers ignored Kyle Rittenhouse and he was not arrested in Kenosha, Wisconsin by the police officers immediately after allegedly shooting and killing two men and allegedly shooting and injuring a third man.
Kyle Rittenhouse was not arrested until the next day, 26th August, 2020, when he handed himself in to police officers in Antioch, Illinois.
If a United States citizen who is not an actor shot and killed two men with live ammunition and shot and injured a third man with live ammunition, it is highly likely that there would be multiple police officers pursuing such a United States citizen and swarming over the dwelling in which such a United States citizen lives. It is highly likely that such a United States citizen would be arrested by police officers before such a United States citizen is able to hand him or herself in to police officers.
